Just a heads up for AARP Tax Aide clients — there will be no Tax Aide services on Friday, April 3rd. The volunteers will be back in action on Tuesday, April 7th.

The church office will be closed on Friday, March 20. We'll also have limited coverage over Spring Break (March 23-27), so please call ahead or send us an email at [email protected] if you need to get in touch.

The wonderful folks of AARP Tax Aide will be here during their normal days and times.

Update 12/19: A second shipment was delivered yesterday — there were still quite a few today at 3!

Christmas trees, donated once again by Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm, are available in front of the church on the corner of 6th and C. Come pick up a little free holiday cheer!

There's still time to register kids in K-12th grade in our upcoming Santa Lucia Pageant on December 13th, featuring traditional Swedish songs, delicious baked goods and cocoa, and music from the wonderful Alice Blankenship: www.ebbertumc.org/lucia. The event is free, and even if your kid isn't singing, everyone is welcome to attend!

Ebbert’s annual Santa Lucia Pageant is coming up on Saturday, December 13th at 6:00 pm.

The pageant is inspired by the traditional Scandinavian Advent celebration, brought to life by the children of our community—students in K–12th grade are the stars of the show. They’ll share classic Advent and Scandinavian tunes in our candlelit sanctuary, followed by coffee, cocoa, and pastries.

This year, we’re also delighted to welcome violinist Alice Blankenship, whose expressive playing will help bring these timeless melodies to life!

We can’t wait to share this beautiful evening with you. Registration for our participants and admission are free.

Ebbert is currently gathering food for Springfield High School's resource room. Check out the wish list and bring any donations to worship or to the church office, Tues-Friday, 9 am to 1 pm, now through November 20th.

Also welcome are donations of powdered lemonade and healthy snacks (granola bars, dried and whole fruit) for Springfield Homework Club's Thursday meetings to supplement the (totally free) club's weekly pizza.
