Wednesday Night Update

Due to the severe weather outlook for this evening all Equip Classes, Cafe 501, Open Prayer, and Youth Services are canceled tonight, Wednesday, June 17.

𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝘆.

Come early, grab dinner, pray with others, and find a place to grow in your faith.

Cafe 501 opens at 5pm, and this week’s featured meal is pepperoncini pulled pork sandwiches.

Open Prayer also begins at 5pm, creating space to pause, seek the Lord, and pray together before the evening continues.

At 6pm, adults can join Upside Down Power: A Study of 2 Corinthians, while Calvary Kids continues 50 Minutes of Faith & Fun for kids through 5th grade.

Bring the family and make Wednesday night part of your week.

But Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 7 that the question is not whether we can sound close to Him.

The question is whether we truly know Him.

What if the greatest quest of all isn’t about dragons or treasure, but discovering who Jesus really is?

This summer, kids are invited to Kingdom Quest VBS, a five-day adventure where they will discover God’s Kingdom and what it means to follow Jesus.

Each day, kids will explore powerful Bible stories, worship together, play games, make crafts, and uncover answers to big questions like:

Who is Jesus?
Where is He when life feels scary?
What do I do when I mess up?
How can I share the good news?

Through every part of the week, kids will learn that Jesus is the Light of the World, and when we follow Him, we walk in the light of life.

Wednesday night is a great opportunity to reconnect, grow in faith, and be encouraged in the middle of the week.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗸𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸.

Yesterday morning, our Calvary Kids campers left for Breakaway Kids Camp, and we are believing God to meet them in a powerful way.

Would you take a moment today to pray for them?

Pray for safety, strong friendships, open hearts, and for each child to hear from God in a way they will remember long after camp is over. Pray for our leaders, too, as they guide, encourage, and care for each camper this week.

VBS Volunteer Meeting

VBS is almost here, and we want every volunteer to feel prepared, confident, and ready for a great week with our kids!

If you are serving at VBS this year, make plans to attend the VBS Volunteer Meeting on June 14 at 4pm at the Jefferson Street Campus.

We’ll walk through important details, answer questions, share expectations, and help everyone know where they fit before the week begins.

Father’s Day at Calvary

On Sunday, June 21, we are taking time to honor and celebrate the dads, grandpas, spiritual fathers, and father figures who have helped lead, serve, encourage, and point others toward Jesus.

Father’s Day can carry a lot of different emotions, but we are grateful for the men who show up with faithfulness, love, wisdom, and strength.

Make plans to join us on June 21 as we worship together and thank God for the men He has placed in our lives.
