Yesterday our crew traveled to downtown Washington, Missouri to spray foam these beautiful riverfront townhomes as part of the city’s Front Street Development project. Jacob and his crew sprayed some beautiful foam here! 👍

Performance Foam Insulation just finished up a big project in Golden City,MO this week for I.D.S. The exterior walls, gable-ends, and roof decking were sprayed with closed-cell spray foam insulation, and then coated with thermal barrier white paint (DC315). It was a productive Monday for Performance Foam Insulation! Beautiful family home in Strafford,MO was having trouble keeping the girls' bedrooms warm, along with the rest of the upstairs, as well as the main foyer on the main level. What we found: A traditionally insulated home that was not necessarily improperly insulated, but the product itself (Fiberglass) just was not doing the job. After we removed the front porch soffit It became clear that we could make a difference for these folks. Floor joists, although insulated were allowing cold air to circulate from one side of the house to the other. We were able to remove the fiberglass for the lower level ceiling and upper level walls and replace with Open Cell Spray foam while sealing off the floor joists in the process to keep the cold air out. My prediction is that there will be a few less space heaters running up the utility bill from now on. R-value means very little without a good air barrier in place.
