๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒฟ Godโ€™s Got It! Our sweet preschoolers learned about Moses and the burning bush this week. They heard that even when Moses had questions, nothing was too hard for God!

Little ones face things that feel BIGโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ› Trying something new
๐Ÿ‘‹ Saying goodbye at drop-off
๐Ÿงธ Sharing a favorite toy
๐ŸŒ™ Feeling afraid at bedtime

Have a little heart-to-heart with your preschooler:
๐Ÿ’ฌ โ€œWhat is something that feels hard for you?โ€
๐Ÿ’› โ€œHow do you feel when you try something new?โ€
๐Ÿ™ โ€œWho can we talk to when we feel worried or scared?โ€

Remind them: โ€œGod loves you, and He is with you. We can ask Him for help even when something is still hard!โ€ ๐Ÿค—

What a beautiful morning at Church on the Lawn! ๐ŸŒณโ˜€๏ธ It was amazing to see our whole church family gathered for one service, all generations worshiping together at the same time. From our littlest children to parents, grandparents, and longtime members, it was a sweet picture of the family of God. ๐Ÿ’›

Parents, those moments matter. When your preschooler sees people of every age singing, praying, and worshiping, they begin to discover that they belong to a church family that loves Jesus and loves them!

Keep the conversation going this week:

๐Ÿ’› โ€œWho did you enjoy seeing at church?โ€ Talk about the people who make up our church family.

๐ŸŽถ โ€œWhat did you notice while everyone was singing?โ€ Share something you loved about worshiping together.

๐ŸŒฟ โ€œWhatโ€™s something God made that you saw outside?โ€ Take turns noticing His creation.

๐Ÿ™ โ€œWho in our church family can we pray for?โ€ Say a simple prayer together.

You donโ€™t need perfect words or a planned lesson. Little conversations about shared experiences help plant seeds of faith! ๐ŸŒฑ

โ˜€๏ธ What a beautiful Sunday for Church on the Lawn!

It was so special to see our preschool families together, worshiping and enjoying time with our church family. Our beautiful campus gave us such a wonderful place to gather, and the gorgeous weather made the morning even sweeter! ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ’›

The lawn is quiet again and everything is tucked away, but the sweet memories remain. Until next year, Church on the Lawn! โค๏ธ

On Sunday, our preschoolers learned about Jonah and this truth: I can always talk to God. Parents, can you relate to Jonah? I can. Sometimes God nudges me to do something outside my comfort zone, like joining a group that would help me grow in my faith, sharing my faith, or reaching out to someone I find difficult to love. Sometimes I want to go the other way!

But even when we do, we can turn back to God. He hears us, helps us find our way, and gives us courage to follow where He is leading. That preschool truth is for us, too. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿณ

๐Ÿณ Our FCC preschoolers learned about Jonah and how he chose not to listen when God told him to go to Nineveh. After Jonah was thrown overboard and swallowed by a big fish, he prayed and God heard him, even from inside the fish!

When Jonah came out of the fish, he chose to do the right thing and obey God by going to Nineveh.

Just like Jonah, we may make wrong choices or find ourselves in scary situations, but we can always talk to God when weโ€™re afraid, when weโ€™re sorry, or when we need help.

Our big truth this week was: I can always talk to God! ๐Ÿ’™

Be sure to ask your preschooler about our parachute activity and where Jonah landed! ๐Ÿ˜Š

We canโ€™t wait to see our preschool friends tomorrow! ๐Ÿ’›
There may be a few Goldfish at snack time ๐ŸŸโ€ฆ and a BIG fish in our Bible story! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Tomorrow weโ€™ll be learning about Jonah and discovering that we can listen to and follow God.
Weโ€™re looking forward to another sweet Sunday together learning, playing, and growing in Godโ€™s love!
See you tomorrow! ๐Ÿณ

๐Ÿ’› A Little Encouragement for Parents ๐Ÿ’›

Parenting is filled with moments when we donโ€™t have all the answers. Some days are joyful, while others can feel overwhelming, but we never have to face them alone.

Just as Hagar discovered in our Bible story on Sunday, God sees us, He hears us, and He is with us.

Whatever is on your heart today, take a moment to talk to Him. Your prayers donโ€™t have to be long or perfect. God hears the quiet prayers whispered in the middle of ordinary, busy days. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

This week, our preschoolers are remembering:

โ€œGod always hears me.โ€ ๐Ÿ’›

On Sunday, our preschoolers learned about Hagar and Ishmael. When they were alone in the desert and needed water, Hagar prayed and God heard her! He showed her the water they needed and lovingly cared for them.

Our children learned that no matter where they are, God is with them and He can always hear their prayers. โค๏ธ

Ask your preschooler about our grocery store activity:

๐Ÿ›’ How easily can we get food and water when we need them?
๐Ÿ’ง How did Hagar and Ishmael find water in the desert?
๐Ÿ™ Who heard Hagarโ€™s prayer and provided what they needed?

What a beautiful reminder for all of us: wherever we are and whatever we need, we can talk to God. God always hears us! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
