Today is Salvation Army Doughnut Day! Here is our own Rev Gary Spaulding as one of the MCs. The contestants are police & firefighters, military & veterans.

We look forward to worship on 5/31, when Rev Eve Blackwell-Lewis will bring her Beresh*th Dance Ministry. Rev Blackwell-Lewis is the pastor of Bethel AME Jacksonville, IL. Please come in person if you can. We will also be on Facebook Live, YouTube and Zoom. Please do not forget our roof fund.

May 24 is Pentecost Sunday, 50 days after Easter when the Holy Spirit came to the frightened disciples in the Upper Room. This gave them the courage to preach the Word. On 5/17 we will have service in person at 10:45, as well as be Facebook Live, YouTube, and Zoom. The roof is completed so we continue to look for donors who are both occasional and continuous. We are at the beginning of a campaign to raise $50,000. Members and non-members are welcome to contribute.

We need the Lord and each other at this critical time in our nation and the world. Come worship with us May 10. Pray for each other and we will pray for you. We will celebrate Mothers Day for mothers and all those that serve in that role.
