Excellent motel!!

Good: Excellent motel. Clean, nicely decorated, beautiful lobby, nice breakfast area, conveniently located close to the interstate. Availability of snacks to purchase without traditional vending machines, which meant that I got soda that wasn't expired. Prices were also reasonable for soda. Pool looked nice but I didn't use it. The microwave and mini frig are always a plus. I also liked that the non smoking policy was really stressed!
Bad: I'm not sure about security. The back door wasn't the traditional open with your key so it seemed that anyone could walk in. Breakfast staff might be better trained. One staff lady stood and blocked plates and silverware (I was waiting to get mine) as she leisurely put silverware out afew pieces at a time, often touching the tines of the forks. I did find it a little hard to get on the wi-fi.

Reserved a room for the night for a concert in town. Had a king suite, which was a king bed, whirlpool bath, sitting area. It was very nice to walk into. Deb, the night clerk, was awesome! Super informative & pleasant. The continental breakfast had everything you needed. I would gladly stay there again!

This hotel continues excel, the staff from assistant manager, lobby desk personnel all the working staff on all shifts were friendly, helpful and very sincere in dealing our DAV group. I have always enjoyed. The mini conventions up there, this trip was a big BRAVO ZULU !!!!! (It is a Military thing) CWO4 James B. Taylor, U.S. Navy, (ret)

This hotel was wonderful! We booked through the 2.5 star express deal for Springfield on Priceline. The price was perfect for a family. It was one of eight hotels we could've ended up with. The staff was extremely friendly during check-in and even walked us to our room to make sure the key worked. She actually asked and gave us a room on the first floor since she could see we had three children, one being a baby. The room was nice and modern as in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable. Nice comforters. Room and carpet were clean. There's a fridge and microwave, which is convenient. The continental breakfast was very good, with waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage, along with typical cold foods and fruit. The coffee was actually delicious for hotel coffee. In the afternoon there were cookies out by the front desk. The second staff interaction was also very pleasurable. Quick to help, give advice to the area and friendly in general. The pool was enjoyable. Watch out for slippery tile though! Only negative noticed at all here. It's tucked away off of historic Route 66. No traffic noise. Although it isn't downtown, it's only a ten minute drive away to all the Lincoln historic sites and about a half hour to New Salem. I would highly recommend this hotel for a great family getaway!

We felt welcome from the second we walking through the door. The receptionist was very professional.
Hotel breakfast was one of the best in a long time. We will stay again.

My family had a wonderful experience here! All of the staff we encountered were very helpful and assisted with our needs. The hotel was clean and the rooms look awesome! We will return to Ramada on future trips, and will encourage friends and family to check out this great hotel.

Never too early to think about the State Fair! Great acts so far!
