MSU Philosophy Club’s mission is to encourage and promote philosophical discourse and critical thinking.

Not all of us are philosophy majors, and that is okay as everyone can critically evaluate and participate in these discussions, and we are open to all viewpoints. We also exist as an organization to help current philosophy majors find professional success once they graduate. We want to show that philosophy is very much alive and relevant today. Congratulations to our new President, Jared Cameron! There are still many other positions that need filled, including Vice President.

You do not need to be a major of philosophy, but must be interested in philosophy!

Due to anticipated inclement weather, we are going to reschedule our monthly meeting to next Wednesday (January 29). Hope to see everyone there!

Thank you to everyone who attended our Spring Panel tonight! It was an incredibly interesting and relevant discussion. If you weren't able to make it, hopefully you can join us next Monday for a fun board game night.

I want to specifically thank all of our panelists: Dr. Elizabeth Foreman, Dr. Aida Hass, and Dr. Bukola Oyeniyi. All of you had amazing insights into a complex philosophical question and helped us understand how philosophical concepts can be practically applied in different fields of study.

I also want to thank Dr. Tony Chackal for being a wonderful moderator and helping to recruit some very insightful panelists.

I hope to see everyone at our next event and future panels!
