In an absolutely troubling twist of fate, my oldest niece is basically (okay, actually) a grown-up woman. My horror at this fact is mellowed a bit by the knowledge that she’s a very kind, thoughtful, sweet, creative, and free-spirited grown-up woman that I’m excited for my baby girl to look up to.

I’m going to go cry now.

I love this job and am so grateful for all the wonderful people I get to meet, and from different places too! Alissa (from California) married Josh (from Kentucky) this weekend in the middle of the Ozarks, and it was rainy but honestly moody and magical and beautiful.
