Thanks to everyone who attended the Dubs Mixer at the Racquet club Friday evening. A free night of tennis donated by the Club. A good time was had by all and the food and wine freely flowed...especially for me! Prizes of tennis balls, t-shirts and even a couple of trophies handed out to deserving players. Our new donation totals will not show up online for awhile but we should move up in the standings. There is still time to donate if you haven't as yet. Thanks again for your generousity!!

The STA is sponsoring a DOUBLES MIXER at the Racquet Club on Friday, October 24th at 7 pm. A donation on behalf of the My Gift to Kids Tennis is appreciated. The funds raised will be used locally, specifically for the Southern View Junior Tennis program. All level of players welcome to this fast paced, full of prizes and fun tennis mixer. The STA is sponsoring the Southern View Tennis Program started by Dominic Giacomini for "My Gift to Kids Tennis". During the Month of October you, and yes that means you, can donate to help this very worthy sport continue for the kids in Southern View. Dominic and his volunteers teaches young children how to play and respect the game. The do this on a very limited budget, often using funds from their own pockets. If interested in helping with our Youth Tennis Program, begin by volunteering at the State Fair this year. I have free parking passes on the days you give up some of your time.

The STA and the Midwest Section have teamed up to put on a
FREE "10 & Under" youth tennis program at the State Fair. Help us man the sign up table for a few hours and I'll provide you with a parking pass in the grounds every day you attend. [email protected]
