The Sound of Freedom is a movie based on a true story. Child s*x trafficking is a reality today as it has been for a long time and it should be the business of every person to do what they can to speak up, and when possible, support those who are striving to stop it.

I mourn the loss of these two agents who have been combating child s*x abuse world wide.

The two FBI agents killed in a Florida shooting were dedicated to preventing crimes against children FBI Special Agents Daniel Alfin and Laura Schwartzenberger, who died in a Sunrise, Florida shootout Tuesday, devoted their careers to investigating crimes against children.

Thanks to our donors, we were able to continue our support of a pastor in Southern India who helps distribute food to people in rural areas, shares the gospel with them, baptizes those who get saved and provides them each with a Bible. He is tireless and has seen countless individuals come to a saving faith in Christ. Following is the report from our friends at a local church after The Isaiah Group’s most recent donation.

“I was able to Zoom with Pastor, his wife & their whole family on Saturday. He asked me several times to thank you & the Isaiah Group for the prayer support & the financial support for food relief. I think he said that donation would feed something like 200 families. “

Please keep this pastor in prayer as he serves the people of India. They are hard hit with COVID-19, ongoing poverty and now increased su***de because of the pressure to perform academically. Rural families are especially vulnerable to this because they can’t afford the internet, so they can’t do on-line school, thus impacting their grades. Pray for the precious people of India.

One of the organizations we support financially is the International Justice Mission. They are engaged in a variety of anti-human trafficking efforts. I received an e-mail from them today, an excerpt of which is below, briefly talking about a recent rescue.

Dear Gordon,

We are praising God for a recent rescue operation in Ghana that you made possible! Just a few weeks ago, IJM supported the Ghanaian Anti-Human Trafficking Unit and local police to rescue two boys and two girls, between the ages of 7-15, who had been enslaved in the fishing industry.

Because of you, these four precious children are now free and safe.

One 13-year-old boy rescued in the operation was very scared and anxious during the rescue, but after receiving food, a shower and fresh clothes he approached the team with a huge smile and said, “God bless you.”

This sweet blessing extends to you, too — our faithful donors who care deeply for the vulnerable and lost, and sent rescue to them!

This is worth celebrating! I’m glad The Isaiah Group was able to play a small part in this operation.
