Investigating Innocence was organized by Bill Clutter, who originally founded the Illinois Innocence Project in 2001. Bill is a licensed private investigator and has been involved in many exoneration cases, including Rolando Cruz, Alejandro Hernandez, Julie Rea, Herb Whitlock, and Randy Steidl.
