Visions By JDR

If you ever walked through Vision's doors when it was on Sangamon, on Carpenter or on Jefferson, you walked right under and were blessed by these tiny little scrolls. Did anyone notice them?

The estate sale has ended, and the store is out of merchandise. Darlene's shop, Visions by JDR, has closed permanently.

However sorrowful that may be to us, we all know that everything in creation walks their path to its ultimate end and at that ending, passes through a door to a new beginning.

To Darlene, selling merchandise and making money was only a happy side effect of creating and maintaining the amazing community we have all shared in and benefited from. Community has always been the real wealth. No amount of money could buy the love, kindness, knowledge and compassion that passed through Vision's doors.

That being said, this community and this page are not ended.

The executor of Darlene's estate has given permission to keep this page up and running as a way for everyone to stay in touch and share community. Please continue following and sharing comments or questions as you will, while at the same time fostering patience as we all still continue adjusting to the change of course down new paths that Darelene's passing has created for us.
