This dragon painted with our specialty and crystal glazes turned out SO cool 😍🎨
I love how the way the blue settled really brings out the scales on the dragon, and the rock looks so realistic!
We love when people get creative with the glazes!
It’s spooky season at Firehouse Pottery, and we have so many festive light ups and lanterns to get you into the Halloween spirit!
Here are some of our favorites we have on the floor right now! The ones with light up kits even include a plug-in kit that fits perfectly in your piece to make them glow!
For the lanterns, we recommend using a battery operated votive candle to bring them to life!
I might be a bit biased because fall is my favorite season, but I think some of our coolest pieces come from our fall/halloween section and I always love seeing what everyone creates!

We’re so grateful for this amazing community and the way you all have shown up time and time again to support us over the last 30 years.
There were a few times, especially during COVID, when we weren’t sure we’d make it through to the next year. But here we are, and the studio is the busiest it’s ever been!
Words could never fully express our gratitude, but hopefully you’ll feel the love we have for you all over the next couple of months as we celebrate our 30th year!

Social media giveaway - No purchase necessary. Must be 18 years or older to enter. One entry per comment (must tag a new friend in each comment for multiple entries). Must be following us on Instagram. Giveaway ends September 30, 2026 at 5pm. Winner will be announced the following week on our social media. Must provide first, last name, and phone number for pottery credit. Free pottery is issued in a $30 studio credit on the first of the month for 12 months following the giveaway. Credit must be used in the month allotted. Non-transferable and no cash value. Credit cannot be used to purchase gift cards, events, or pottery to-go.
Another trend we’re seeing in the studio lately: patchwork! It’s the most common on plates, mugs, and bowls, but the possibilities are truly endless with this design 🎨
Just pick your favorite color combinations, and it can be as simple or as creatively complex as you want!
It’s so fun seeing how pieces transform when they come out of the kiln! Our glazes aren’t like other paints you’ve probably worked with before. They look chalky at first, but once they’re fired they come to life!
That’s part of what makes the painting process so fun! And don’t worry if you’ve never used glazes before, we’ll walk you through the whole process! 🎨
