We want to extend our gratitude to all the kind donors, for investing in our vision. We are looking forward to hosting each of you on our various sites.
We are also grateful to the community, the neighbours and friends who came to celebrate with us.

Thank you to Hospital Sisters Health System volunteers- joined by 2 community members- for bringing their care and energy to Day of Action! We matched them with The Motherland Gardens Community Project on Springfield's south side, where they installed new raised garden beds to help the community grow fresh food. HSHS shows us every day that community health goes beyond the clinic. We're grateful!

2 years ago we lost you. Rest in Peace great friend.

We wanted to take a minute to inform the community and our supporters of the sudden passing of one of our Board members.

Darren Burris. He was a friend, a mentor, a volunteer and a great advocate.
We want him to be remember as a humble, passionate and very hardworking person. He never wants to take credit for any of his good
actions and always advocate for the preservation of life no matter what.

One of his great quotes was: "Instead of complaining about how bad the world we are living in is, ask yourself what you can do to make it better."
He was a great community advocate, and we will pay tribute to him by carrying his legacy forward.
Darren was a very private person and for that reason we opted not to make any official post until he is buried. We also wanted to respect the family privacy.
He was buried last Saturday December 9th at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

We are sending prayers and our extended condolences to the bereaved family and love ones.
