Thanks to all these folks who showed up on Work Day 2026 (there were more folks but I didn’t get their photos). Also, Thank You Larry Stricklan for all the your hard work and your expertise in maintaining our historic buildings!
Time for Spring Cleaning! On Monday, March 30 we will gather to spruce up the farm for spring. We will start around 9 but anytime you can come out and lend a hand would be appreciated. Work will be done inside and outside building, painting siding and putting in a new water pump. If you have w**d eaters, gardening tools, paint brushes, shop vacs, cleaning rags, etc throw them in the car and head to the Farmstead. It is always fun to see each other and get ready for a new season.
Our annual membership drive and brunch is tomorrow! We look forward to sharing everything that is happening at the Gray/Campnell Farmstead. Come learn all about how you can volunteer with us.
Unfortunately, due to a temporary illness, Richard Crabtree will not be able to do his presentation. We look forward to rescheduling him in the future.

To add to the fun, we have the opportunity to hear about the fascinating history of our community from local historian and realtor Richard Crabtree!
All are welcome to this free event. You might even decide to become a member and volunteer at the farmstead.

2025’s “1860’s Lifestyles Expo” started off with rain but the skies soon cleared and a fun day exploring the GCF buildings and meeting up with the demonstrators was enjoyed by the many visitors. Yummy food provided by the College of the Ozarks at their concession stand and good old time music provided by Terry Hammer and his friends kept everyone in a relaxed and happy mood.
