TES had an extra special visitor yesterday! 🦙🎉

Caesar the No Drama Llama and his human, Larry, joined us as a special celebration because our students met our schoolwide I-Ready Math goal!

Our students and staff absolutely loved spending time with Caesar, giving hugs, taking pictures, and enjoying this unique reward. We are so proud of the hard work, perseverance, and growth our students showed throughout the year to reach this goal.

A huge thank you to Larry and Caesar for making the day so memorable and for bringing so many smiles to TES! ❤️

We are so grateful that Dante took time out of his busy schedule to visit TES, connect with our students, and spread such a positive message. This Friday, May 22, is an early release day for all students.

Elementary students will be released at 12:30 p.m.
Middle and high school students will be released at 1:15 p.m.
Lunch will be served as usual.
Bus riders will be dropped off at their bus stops 2 hours and 20 minutes earlier than their regular time.

*This does not apply to A3, The Academy of Arts & Academics, which has its own calendar.

Our jog-a-thon was a success on Friday! Our cheetahs ran and walked to help raise funds for our school. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and to all the volunteers!

We’re celebrating some amazing student achievement at Thurston Elementary! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Mrs. Orme’s 5th graders and Mrs. Federico’s 4th graders for meeting our schoolwide goal—80% or more of students hit their typical growth goal on the i-Ready winter diagnostic! That’s a big deal and a reflection of their hard work and dedication.

To help celebrate, Track Town Pizza generously donated 3 free pizzas and provided a very kind discount—thank you for supporting our students and community!
