As we enter 2026, a year that feels very much like a season of change, I want to share an important update: Studio V Design will be closing its doors at the end of this month.

This was not an easy decision. Over the past 18 years, building this business from the ground up has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my professional career. I'm deeply grateful for the trust placed in me by our clients, and for the opportunity to collaborate with so many talented consultants and employees along the way. Running a small business has been both challenging and rewarding and I will always value what this journey has taught me.

While Studio V Design is coming to a close, my work as an interior designer is not. I will continue designing with one of my longtime business clients and I am genuinely excited about the opportunities this next chapter will bring.

It's that time of year again. Meetings somehow seem the most tedious and drawn out when you are ready to get out of the office for the holidays. If you are going to be stuck in a conference room though, it might as well be a pretty one! Bonus if it has a great view to let falling leaves or snow distract you (I promise I won't tell your boss if you don't tell mine!)

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held a couple of weeks ago in Wyandotte, OK for a special project of ours, which is a new government building for the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma. Chief Glenna Wallace spoke on the importance of this facility, which will provide a place for all tribal employees to meet. This building also honors the past, especially those who were among the first impacted by the 1830 Indian Removal act. Architect: BRP Architects. Engineers: RTM.
