Branson Summer Vacation: More To Life Media

With another family weekend getaway, why not the Branson area. The Boy's got a golf game in and then a round of mini golf with the family. We looked for Bigfoot and enjoyed some shopping. Then hung out at the pool. There is nothing better than our home away from home, Branson has always given us some great family time.

We did it again! When in the area, we just have to stop by. This is one of the Missouri's top state parks, and it's for sure on top of our list. These giant 1.5-billion-year-old granite rocks never fail to amaze and entertain us.

Thunderstorms, sunset, quarries, and the Taum Sauk Hydroelectric Power Station, this valley has some amazing sights.

The most popular Shut-ins in Missouri and for good reasons. To share this day with family made it even better. This place never fails to give us an adventurous day.

Tiemann Shut-ins and Millstream gardens access: More To Life Media

Still doing our Shut-ins trip, we went to one we haven't done yet. This would be a fun one to re-visit, when water is up. It would be fun to watch the kayaking along water in Missouri that one would normally see in Colorado.

Being on the list to do for years, we finally got it done. With just a short hike, we traveled over a rock collection that reminded us of the cities our kids have made in Minecraft.

Pa’s Posey Patch: More To Life Media

Located south of Cassville, Missouri is a 15-acre farm that is overflowing with flowers throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall. The owners are graceful host and maintain a wonderful collection of flowers.

Old Chain of Rocks Bridge

I know, we have done this one many times, but it's hard to skip this amazing bridge with a 22-degree bend and mermaid castle water intakes. We hope for that one day to travel across it how it was intended.

Illinois's Auburn Brick Road, on Route 66

With us only staying a few minutes away, and heading home, we decided to try this mother road stop again. The "Auburn Brick Road" was part of Route 66 until 1930, this 1.4-mile-long piece of restored hand-laid brick road is just stunning to see.
