Did anyone else know that potato plants have flowers?? 🌼

I've always been intimidated by potatoes, but WOW our potato plants are doing great! 🥔

Want to grow your own? Check out the foolproof steps below, our follow the link in our bio for more!

1) Forget about a bag of potatoes somewhere until they start sprouting.

2) Fill the bottom of a fabric tote bag (we used fabric potato grow bags from Amazon) with 1-2 inches of potting soil. Place your sprouted potatoes on top of the soil with the sprouts facing up.

3) Cover the potatoes in even more soil, until just the sprouted tips are showing.

4) As the plant grows, keep mounding up more soil so just the green tips are showing. Eventually you'll reach the top once your plant is big enough!

5) Eventually, the plant should turn yellow and start to wilt. Stop watering and let it be for 1-2 weeks, then dump out your bag and enjoy your harvest!

Dill is officially in test stage #2: Blackout 😬

We got some AMAZING germination with our first test run of dill, and now we stretch it a little longer in our blackout period ✔️

The blackout period forces the seeds to stretch for light, making their roots dig deep and become firmly rooted 🌱 This encourages healthy growth for the future and makes a strong, resilient green. Isn’t it amazing the parallels between life and gardening? ❤️
