Today, progress has been made towards debris removal and rebuilding. However, the work is still not done. It will be years before Jacksonville and other impacted communities will heal. You can aid Arkansans and other disaster survivors by donating to the Little Rock Red Cross or to the Red Cross disaster fund.

One year ago today, Jacksonville (Arkansas) was hit by an EF3 tornado.

Black and White Prints

Hot Springs, Arkansas is known for its naturally hot water that’s claimed to heal. That’s why the rehab was built. However, now the government wants to tear it down.

Through my photography class, I have been introduced to the process of taking the picture to developing the film and finally making a print. I’ve fallen in love with how intimate you become with each picture as you hand edit it to be perfect. I’m looking forward to sharing more of this prints with y’all as I continue this journey as a new photography minor!
