The ​diocesan Catholic School's office is trying to find someone that has a trailer or box truck ​who could travel to KC to pick up some donated school furniture​. This needs to be done in the next week and we need to know by Monday (June 8) or they are going to release it. - We're continually amazed to think how many generations have passed through the halls of St. Joseph Catholic Academy. Here we have the 5th & 6th Grade Classes from 1941-42, before the "new" school building was built in 1949. We suspect the priest shown is (then) pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Springfield MO, Rev. John Kunkel, OSB.

School is out.... but we're still here! 🏫😜👋🏻 Staff members are on hand for limited hours during the Summer months, preparing and working diligently to make the 26-27 School Year the best one yet!

After so many years, it's official: the final day of school was the final day of our music teacher, Mrs. Gray, before entering official retirement! 🌴

Tomorrow (Friday, May 15) St. Joseph Catholic Academy will be celebrating the graduation of our 8th Graders at our 8:30 am Mass. We are so proud of these students as they prepare to spread their wings and fly!🪽

⚠️ Guests, please arrive early to assure seating, and please come to the side (north) door of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Springfield MO to enter. The physical address of St. Joseph Church is 1101 N. Campbell Avenue, Springfield Missouri.

There will be a light reception inside St. Joseph Catholic Academy after the ceremony.

It's the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima - which, for the past couple years, has been our school's day to celebrate crowning Mary as the Queen of May! 🌹 Our May Crowning took place right after the morning Mass today, and was very well-attended.

"The queen symbol was attributed to Mary," said St. Pope John Paul II, "because she was a perfect follower of Christ, who is the absolute ‘crown’ of creation. She is the Mother of the Son of God, who is the messianic King. Mary is the Mother of Christ, the Word Incarnate…Mary is the perfect follower of Christ. ...Thus, in an eminent way, she won the ‘crown of righteousness,’ ‘the crown of life,’ ‘the crown of glory’ that is promised to those who follow Christ.” 👑

The Spring Musical Review this past week at St. Joseph Academy had an American flair! ❤️🤍💙 The show celebrated 250 years of the USA with a medley of patriotic songs and tunes.
