Check out this Ficus Palmeri or "Rock Fig". Deep in El Chorro Canyon in Southern Baja you can find these trees with roots that integrate themselves in the granite.
Fun Black Oak Removal a few weeks back. To bad this 100+ year old Oak was failing on top of the house! You could stick your whole arm through the roots!
