CHF Springfield celebrated Barb Sutter’s retirement with a reception this afternoon. Sutter, administrative assistant/office manager, is retiring after almost 14 years with Community Health Foundation. She will be missed, and we wish her the best as she begins this new chapter!

It’s World Redhead Day
Did you know that less than 2% of the world’s population has red hair? It’s true!
Facts About Redheads:
It’s extremely rare.
Scotland has the highest concentration of redheads in the world.
Research shows that redheads are less likely to go gray as they age and produce Vitamin D much more quickly in low-sunlight environments than other hair colors.

GRANTEE SPOTLIGHT: CitiLookout is a counseling and trauma recovery center which partners with individuals and families, counseling them toward emotional, relational, and spiritual healing. CItiLookout serves all but especially focuses on underserved and underrepresented populations.
A $10,000 grant from CHF Springfield helps fund their grace-based service which offers counseling support to persons unable to afford the cost of their mental health care. Their goal is to help people heal so they can lead independent and fulfilling lives.
