University of Tennessee commit Bailee Shelton and Springfield freshman ace Taylynn Babbs went toe-to-toe for five innings in the opening round of the Class 3A state tournament until McNairy Central broke through for five runs in the sixth inning for a 5-0 win over Springfield.
