Thirteen STCC students and six staff members headed to Polar Park in Worcester on Thursday, Sept. 17, for Community College Night at the WooSox! 🎓⚾

The group joined students and colleges from across Massachusetts for an evening of baseball, community college pride and pregame festivities, including a parade of students on the field and a pregame panel featuring WooSox players and team staff.

Then it was time for the main event: the Worcester Red Sox vs. Durham Bulls!

A great night to celebrate the STCC community and enjoy America's pastime together!

The Opening Picnic brought the STCC community together to connect, explore campus resources and celebrate the beginning of a new academic year. We loved seeing so many new and familiar faces enjoying the afternoon!

Starting October 5, the Workforce Readiness Academy is designed for individuals who are ready to explore a new career, enter the workforce, or rejoin the workforce.

Whether you’re considering a career change, preparing to return to work, or looking to build the skills and confidence needed for today’s workplace, this FREE program can help you take the next step.

The Workforce Readiness Academy includes:

Build essential digital literacy skills
Explore career and employment opportunities
Network with local employers
Receive personalized guidance from a dedicated College & Career Advisor
Participate 20 hours per week
Choose from day or evening sessions on campus
No cost to participants
