On this joyous holiday, we are proud to have been able to support the great work of the Hampden County Sheriff's Office and their mission to deliver toys to more than 1000 children this Christmas!

Hampden Co. Sheriff’s Department helps deliver toys to kids in the community The Hampden County Sheriff’s Department once again delivered toys to hundreds of kids in the area, just in time for Christmas.

The first-ever Jay Caron Community Impact Foundation fundraiser was a success Friday evening, accomplishing two of Jay's goals: bringing people together and raising money to help people in need.

Jay, who passed suddenly after contracting COVID-19 in 2020, worked behind the scenes across the region to help with countless philanthropic efforts. The foundation, which bears his name, has continued on in his memory, doing everything from providing Christmas presents to young people to providing food for families in need.

Some of the money raised on Friday will go toward helping provide scholarships for lacrosse students, as the sport was a passion of Jay's so much that he actually started the East Longmeadow Lacrosse program.

"Jay's passing left a void not just in Western Massachusetts, but the world, as he was a kind and generous person who lived to help others," said Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi, president of the Impact Foundation. "Through the work of the foundation, we are able to continue his mission and do it in his honor."

Hundreds come together for a casino fundraiser in memory of Jay Caron The Jay Caron Community Impact Foundation ran through the Hampden County Sheriff’s department and held a casino fundraiser on Friday evening.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

We are incredibly grateful for the hundreds of people who came together last night for the Jay Caron Community Impact Foundation Casino Night fundraiser!

"It was a great evening remembering Jay, and reminiscing about good times we had with him while building a reserve to continue his legacy of giving in the community," said Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi, president of the Impact Foundation. "With this foundation, we've been able to positively impact hundreds of families across Western Mass., and uplift hundreds of young people in the process. And that is just the beginning. There is much more to come."

Fundraiser honors late philanthropist, Jay Caron Remembering a late local business owner and community partner brought dozens together tonight for a fundraiser in his honor.

A limited amount of tickets are still available for tonight's 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐎 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 in memory of Jay Caron! With your $100 ticket, you'll have access to a variety of casino games, a buffet dinner, raffles galore, door prizes, and prizes for casino game winners!

The event is from 6:30-10:30 PM at the Elks Lodge, 440 Tiffany Street, Springfield, and some tickets will be available at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Jay Caron Community Impact Foundation, whose goal is to uplift the communities of Hampden County.

Jay Caron, the man whose name our foundation bears, was a humanitarian and philanthropist, contributing to numerous causes in an effort to increase the economic sustainability and quality of life for those living in the region. His life was cut short in October 2020 when he lost his battle with COVID-19 at the age of 60. Jay’s legacy and propensity to give will live on through the Jay Caron Community Impact Foundation.
