Urgent need for men’s summer clothes & shoes (also, men’s & women’s underwear)

Last week a generous donor dropped off more than a dozen pairs of lightly used men's tennis shoes. Unfortunately, he left the shoes on the sidewalk at our front door after hours. The shoes were taken by a single individual and then sold down the street. Please help us best serve our community by dropping off donations during drop-off hours, 7:30am - 4:00pm, M-F.

The Mission is in desperate need of gently worn Men's tennis shoes, summer clothing (especially men's shirts and shorts), and men and women's underwear.

Appreciate businesses stepping up to help the less fortunate in our community! SIKICH (CPAs) made PBJs, bought fruit and filled three outdoor pantries today ! Thank you, Larry Johnson & Sikich employees

We do expect to see an increase of food items needed (PBJs, snacks, fruit and water) starting tomorrow at the outdoor pantries and increase in PBJ’s needed for all of the places we provide them. This is an updated list of where we go:
St. John’s Breadline, Helping Hands Shelter, Washington Street Mission, Inner City Mission, Grace Food Pantry, Contact Ministries, Salvation Army, Springfield Police Department, 5th Street Renaissance and quite a few outdoor pantries where unhoused and impoverished go for food❤️

NEEDED: Men’s black suit. He is 5’9” and 160 pounds!

With spring here, the Mission is now accepting donations of clean and gently used spring and summer clothing. We are particularly in need of men's shorts and jeans in a 28-36 waist size. We are also in need of donations of bottled water, laundry detergent and in need of food donations for our food pantry.
