My name is Jaime Doering and I am the owner and sole creator of BlockOn! I also have a full-time job in the mortgage industry and am a wife and mother in Central Illinois. My craft began like any many others do- by accident. I have always been that “crafty” person in the family. I grew up making scrapbooks and painting/sketching everything I saw. A family member approached me over a decade ago and asked me to make her son a military glass block. She saw it on Pinterest and wanted me to replicate it. I wanted to do my own spin on the idea so I went wild and created this unique military block for her and she told me she loved it so much more than the original design she saw. I posted the photo of the block on my page and before I knew it, all of my friends and family wanted me to make glass blocks for them. I began selling at vendor shows and opened my Etsy store so I could sell across the country. I am very proud to say that I have sold to all 50 states! I started with very simple ideas and designs and over the years I have perfected my craft and I always push myself to come out with new ideas. I have worked hard to make my blocks truly unique and the overall result is beautiful. I truly LOVE making them for people and if you purchase one of them, it will truly be one-of-a-kind.

Getting a little head start on winter for the vendor booth! ❄️☃️
These little snowmen are handmade from cutting boards, and I’m loving how each one ended up with its own personality. 😂 From the greenery and berries to that tiny top hat, no two are exactly alike.
I’m definitely not ready to say goodbye to fall yet, but I’ve started making some winter pieces behind the scenes so I’m not scrambling later. 😂
These cuties will make their booth debut when the time is right! ☃️✨

At first glance, they look like ordinary old photographs… family vacations, roadside stops, lighthouses, camp photos, small-town memories.

The Halloween corner is officially starting to come to life! 🎃👻
I’ve been painting, creating, and adding new handmade pieces a little at a time, and I’m finally starting to see the vision come together.
Every pumpkin has its own personality. Every ghost is a little different. And there are plenty of spooky oddities, haunted portraits, potions, and more on the way. 🧙♀️✨
