SmartTrips is about highlighting the benefits of transportation options to a community!

We use individualized outreach to provide residents with informational literature, free prizes, fun events, and organized programs. Residents interested in assistance with trip planning can request information such as bike and pedestrian maps, bus schedules and routes, and free carpool matching resources.

Are you ready to test your Path Etiquette knowledge? Stop by the River Path Tuesday, July 23, 4:30-6:30 pm, for another round of Path Etiquette Trivia and FREE prizes!

Springfield’s shared-use paths are open to all users, including people walking and running, people using wheelchairs and mobility devices, and people on bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters, one-wheels, skateboards, and more. The City’s Path Etiquette Campaign aims to promote courtesy and safety among all path users and includes community outreach, education, media, and temporary signage.
