Today, we remember our brother, Tony, who left us two years ago. Always in our hearts, never forgotten.

Yesterday, Tour 1, along with Deputy Chief Mastroeni, rescued a Canadian gosling that was entangled in fishing line at the Meisel Pond. The fishing line was carefully cut and the gosling was reunited with its family shortly after.

This week, 6 members took part in Swift Water Rescue training, honing critical rescue skills while building the confidence and teamwork needed to perform in challenging water conditions. Through realistic scenarios and continuous training like this, we ensure we’re ready when our community needs us most.

The Springfield Fire Department is saddened to hear of the death of Springfield Police Sergeant Angelo Bonavitacola, someone who we've worked along side with for many years. Our condolences to the family and friends.

Prayers for the Morrill Volunteer Fire Department, family, and friends on the Line of Duty Death for FF Andrew Cross

The Westfield Fire Department mourns with the Morrill Volunteer Fire Department for the line of duty death of Firefighter Andrew Cross, age 27.

On May 15, Firefighter Cross was killed during an explosion at a silo fire at Robbins Lumber Mill.

Today was Bring Your Kids To Work Day. We demonstrated vehicle extraction, flowing water with an 1 3/4" hose line, hauling a stokes basket with a 3:1 mechanical advantage, and finished the day with pizza for lunch! A great time was had by all.
