We’re excited to see projects like the new Route 66 Plaza highlighted in the Springfield Business Journal as we approach the 100-year anniversary of U.S. Route 66!

Located in Marshfield, Missouri, this new space beautifully blends history and community, featuring a restored gas station, interactive elements, and a place for residents and visitors to gather and celebrate the legacy of the “Mother Road.”

At Great River Engineering, we’re proud to support projects that preserve local history while creating meaningful spaces for future generations. It’s exciting to see communities invest in their story and create destinations that bring people together.

Great River Engineering's Water Team had an excellent time this week at Missouri AWWA/MWEA joint conference! It was a great opportunity to connect with communities, regulators, and experts across the industry to help steward Missouri's water resources. During the conference Connie Walden was able to share our successes working with Appleton City on improvements to their wastewater system.
