Broken Back Farm is a small family run hobby farm where we raise everything from rabbits to beef cows but our main focus is our Natural Colored and Shetland sheep that we've shown for over a decade as we continue to grow and better our fleeces.

Thankful for this guy, to not only find our hay for the year while doing a concrete job for a local farmer who had no one lined up for his fields, but to help stack, unload, stack again, and the use of his equipment 🥰 300+ bales stashed away so far 🌾 . The sheep and all the other critters bellies send thanks as well.
Also, yes, I’ve been a VERY big slacker in posting of the lambs born… stayed tuned, I might just get around to it this weekend. As of right now we have a few Shetland/Icelandics that’ll be available shortly. We have decided to go all out this year with almost all the lambs in tow for show season 🤪 fingers crossed I make it to the end of September 🤞🏼😂

Last Tuesday was the start of lambing season with triplets from my “Old Granny” Natural Colored. Regain, Rose-Marie, and little RHONDA
Early Saturday morning we welcomed triplets from Millie. Mildred, Matilda, Maddie
Saturday night we welcomed a singleton from Moon. A ram named Galaxy.
Sunday morning we welcomed, you guessed it-TRIPLETS from Mocha. Cocktail, Cappucinno, and Coffee
In less than 24hrs we went from one set of triplets, to 3 sets and a single
Lamb count:
7 ewes
3 rams
10ish more ewes to go and a goat
