Join us for our Juneteenth Community Cookout Edition as we celebrate freedom, culture, community, and good food together.

We’ve gathered some of the best grillmasters around to help throw down again this year, and we want to give a special thank you to Tyson Foods, 5th Avenue Uniting Church - Springfield, Tennessee, Walmart Springfield - Tom Austin Hwy , and Kroger for helping supply the groceries. 🙌🏾

On the menu:
🍗 Smoked chicken
🥩 Pork chops (you know we had to run these back 😎)
🍔 Hamburgers
🌭 Hot dogs
🍦 Homemade ice cream made on site

Make sure to drop off any unused medication today at the CVS parking lot. If you can’t make it today, you can always drop it off at the Robertson County Sheriff's Office in the lobby. Keep unused medication out of curious hands!

Drug Take-Back Day 💊

The will be in the CVS parking lot until 2pm today! Come drop off your unused or expired medications for FREE and NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Preaching prevention this morning at the CommUNITY Care and Resource Fair

One of our missions is to make sure that curious teenagers don’t head down the path of addiction. Medication lock boxes help dissuade curiosity and help keep medication out of the wrong hands.

We were able to deliver 12 lock boxes to Greater Faith Community Action Corporation’s Sheika Taylor. These will be used in their many programs including Robertson County’s only soup kitchen, The Master’s Table and thier transitional housing program.

Lock boxes were made possible through our partnership with Robertson County Sheriff's Office Making a Difference Robertson County and the Cheatham County Community Enhancement Coalition. We are so thankful to all the community partners that continue to show up for our community every single day.

Becoming part of the Generations Next family was one of the best moves for our organization! Creating positive childhood experiences is the most powerful prevention from substance misuse and the number one predictor of long term physical and mental health.

Robertson County Prevention Coalition has undergone some big leadership changes. To be able to provide the coalition with unified leadership and clear direction we will be having a board only meeting in place of our regular coalition meeting during the month of March.

Please join us in April for our regularly scheduled coalition meeting! We need you to be part of the work of prevention for youth in our community. See you at the Stokes Brown Public Library on April 9th at noon!
