Hardly Hairless Rattery

Today one of my owners made the gut wrenching decision to give back her HH rats (at no fault of theirs). She did the right thing and messaged me first and like I tell all of my owners: I will ALWAYS take back any rat I produce no matter what the situation. That being said, after their quarantine, they will be reintroduced to the male community cage to live out their days with their father and uncles! If you EVER have a reason things aren’t working out with your HH rats please please please give them back to me. I would much rather any baby I produce come back to live with me than end up potentially in a bad home or as snake food. Thank you so much to the owner for being responsible and messaging me. And thank you for taking such good care of these boys, even if it was only for a little while 🖤

I have made the decision to further downsize my rattery. As much as I would love to work with multiple lines at once, it’s just not a possibility right now. Unfortunate for me, but this is a great opportunity for ya’ll looking for a grown ratty or a few! I’ll be posting photos later today or tomorrow on this post for anyone looking to add something unique to their mischief!

Also while I’m here, these three boys from Fritz’s litter are ready to go in 3 weeks 😁 they carry marten, marble, and some other fun genes.

Opal FINALLY had her babies! 14 little wiggly hairless jelly beans!! For those of you looking for an infamous HHR hairless rat, this is gonna be your litter! With 4 years of pedigree behind them, these particular beans are going to be your best friend! I have hand selected them to be sweet, adventurous, and most of all, HEALTHY AND HAIRLESS! 😬❤️

As promised, the updated marble baby photos😁 This is my first litter from Fritz and she’s doing wonderfully. These guys do not come from Hardly Hairless originals so I am only offering partial pedigrees for them ❤️ all three are quick to come up to you looking for treats and scored at least a 3 out of 5 on the temperament test but I will warn you they are far more interested in getting into trouble at this age than snuggling 😅 I will see how they age and progress before taking applications for them to be safe since I am still feeling out their personalities but if they are anything like their mother, they will be reserved at first but sweet little things once they get to know you!
