Springfield, thank you for the memooooories. 🐮

As many of you know, our Springfield shop will officially close its doors this month and we now have an official date: October 19th.

We want to take a moment to say how deeply grateful we are for every visit, every scoop shared, and every coffee shared here. We’ve loved getting to know you.

While this chapter is coming to a close, it’s not goodbye. You can still visit us at our White House location, and we’re excited to keep bringing smiles (and scoops!) your way through our Moo Mobile ice cream truck, so keep an eye out, because we’re not going far.

We’re still here serving up your favorites through October 19th, so stop by, grab one more cone, and share your favorite moments with us before we go. Be sure to tag us on social media so we can see it, too! Let’s make these last days in Springfield as sweet as the first. 🍦

Yes, we posted the official PR statement yesterday in regards to our closure that was written by our talented Marketing Team.

But sometimes you just have to write straight from the heart ….

We just want to take a moment to thank every single one of you who reached out after our Springfield closing announcement. 💔 The messages, calls, and texts you’ve sent have meant more than we can ever put into words.

Truthfully, it’s been so heavy on our hearts that we couldn’t even bring ourselves to read the FB comments until today. Seeing your memories, your kind words, and your love for what Deja Moo has been to this community brought both tears and comfort.

Please know we poured our hearts and soul into this location and never wanted to leave. We poured all our resources into this location as well from bringing on Megan to steady the ship and hiring the best damn Marketing Team out there!

We can debate wheter its the location, the aesthetics of the shop, whether its too bright or colorful or if the staff was perfect. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. We are still 💔.

Sringfield has given us so much joy, and though this chapter is closing, your support reminds us just how special this journey has been. We’re grateful beyond measure for every visit, every scoop shared, and every moment you chose us to be part of your lives.

Look, y’all, this isn’t the easiest post to write, but it comes with a lot of gratitude. Over the past year, we’ve poured so much into Deja Moo in Springfield, resources, love, time, energy. This was all in hopes of making it the best it could be. After giving it our all, we’ve realized our efforts will make the biggest impact by really leaning into and growing our main store in White House.

That being said, Springfield isn’t getting rid of us completely! You’ll still see us rolling up in the Moo Mobile as often as we can with some of our favorite local business friends. We want to keep a presence here because this community means so much to us.

For our Springfield team that has done so much for us, employees have been offered a position at our White House location, and we’re excited to keep them with us on this next chapter if they'd like to come along.

If you’ve got a Deja Moo gift card, please plan to use it in Springfield before we close mid-October. We’ll share that final date soon, but in the meantime, come see us, grab your favorites, and let us give you a proper “see yooooou later.” 🐮

Here’s a milkshake toast to you, Springfield - for showing up, cheering us on, and being part of the Moo family. This isn’t goodbye. It’s just a shift in how we get to share the Moo with you.🍦
