Today’s car event to support veterans.

I have been neglecting my Camaro.
Washed the outside yesterday and couldn’t believe how nasty the engine compartment had gotten. Since I just got it back from a fresh tune and new wiring issue at the throttle body, I figured it was time to do what I’ve put off for years. Clean the engine compartment and break out the Testors model paint for a refresh.

A simple muffler replacement was exhausting! No good mechanic is done until blood is drawn. Luckily, I have my electrical tape and alcohol pad in my first aid kit!

Harlan Township show today.

The 65 pickup suddenly backfired on me last week. Scared the crap out of me! Sounded like someone set off an M80 in the cab. Oddly enough, it sounds a little louder now. I finally got around to looking underneath.
Oh, that’s what a muffler looks like inside!

After lawn work then installing an aftermarket cabin filter on the GMC Duramax (it didn’t come from the factory with one!) it’s b**r time!

Toasty in the garage today!
