Must have proven experience in the following areas for consideration.
1. Solid understanding of basketball and the rules.
2. Must be able to study the skills and abilities of players to maximize performance.
3. The ability to devise play strategies.
4. Ability to develop ideas to optimize team performance.
5. Team/ Player Management.
6. Ability to teach players the rules.
7. Train Assistant Coaches

Add an extra layer of direction to players. Example: keeping track of scores table, fouls (both teams), timeouts, and keeping players engaged on sideline during games and or tournaments. Etc...
