Soul in the City 2023 was bittersweet for STAY. 🤍

It was a week full of laughter & lots of loving on each other. This week was a great way to close one long, beautiful chapter but also has helped us to start a new one.

Thank you .houston for bringing us closer this year!🥹

Day 3 of was so good that some of us were napping on our way back to the church 😴 (see last pic)

Day 2 of was so much fun! 🥳

The Home Place team is having a great time! We’ve been able to make new buddies and join them in Dance Class, Fitness & Bible Study! 🩶

Yesterday we got to lead them in a game of Scattergories & Team Lollipops won!

Day 1 of was a success 🕺🏻

This year we have 4 different Outside teams which means we get to help 4 more families/individuals! WOOHOO👏🏼

This team got to paint, took out siding that will be replaced, cut some trip and caulked around the windows! They also are working on this Houston Heat so please pray for them!! ☀️

STAY has been thriving and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

📍In January we went off to our Annual Diocesan Youth Winter Retreat at Camp Lone Star where we explored what it’s like having . The Holy Spirit was definitely there and moving hearts 🙌🏼

📍Last night, we had our Annual Valentine’s Dinner Dance that also serves as a Youth Group Fundraiser. We couldn’t be more grateful to every single person that attended.

We are SO proud of our youth for wanting to serve others and learn more about Christ! 🫶🏼

That was a successful & fun Breakfast with Santa🎅🏻🎄

Now that has come to an end it’s time for some recaps of such an awesome week! This year we made sure to take Family pictures🤩

in order: Food Bank, Home Place, Outside 1, TEAM & Outside 2.

The Food Bank team had a blast going to the Montgomery Food Bank & Houston Food Bank this week! They went through a variety of foods and at some point packaged 10,000lbs of oranges🍊A lot more was done & we couldn’t be more proud of our youth.
