I was living my dream when my world got turned upside down.

I didn’t choose the transition — it chose me. One day I was flying high, and the next I was thrust into a cocoon I never asked for.

I call myself a Midwestern girl with a Texas twist — growing up surrounded by the cornfields of Illinois but getting to Texas as fast as I could. And yet, no matter where you’re from, when God is calling you into the cocoon, transition has a way of finding you.

That season stripped me of the woman I had become — the one who was performing, hustling, and holding everything together. And in that dark, uncomfortable cocoon, I discovered my purpose.

I realized that if I held on to who I had been, I could never become the woman God created me to be. So, I surrendered. I let go. And in the process, I was transformed.
I broke out of that cocoon, wrote a best-selling book, and built a profitable movement that has now helped thousands of women find their voice, reclaim their confidence, and rise into their God-given calling.

Now, I help leaders do the same — turn their pain into power, their story into strategy, and their platform into legacy.
