Chris is one of those few people who can say that he is a consultant and speaker who delivers experience and expertise across all sectors and means it. He has worked in government, business, education and philanthropic organizations around the world for more than 25 years. Chris formerly served as a Program Assistant at the Texas Department of Agriculture, Director of Environmental Health at Delta Food Services, Adjunct Professor at the Union Institute located in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, USA and as a founding Lecturer at the Universitas Pelita Harapan School of Medicine in Lippo Karawaci, Indonesia. He was a member of the State of Wisconsin’s food safety advisory panel and served as an FDA food-borne disease investigation coach. He is an IB Examiner and has evaluated and provided curriculum and assessment support for schools in the United States, Canada, Singapore, Russia, Netherlands, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Colombia, Japan, Germany, Thailand, Philippines, and Australia . Chris has managed large and diverse work forces with employees dispersed throughout the United States and have gained significant international work experience along with the accompanying cultural experiences working within a multicultural environment. He was an American Red Cross Volunteer, Chippewa Valley Museum Volunteer and, as a percussion enthusiast, served as percussion judge for Indonesia’s national band competition. His Ph.D. is in Environmental Health Science with sub-specialization in social psychology, management and law. Chris' thesis was entitled: “Impact Analysis of Training Food Service Personnel Relative to Food Safety.” Chris has won research grants and presented at the National Biomedical Research Symposium in Houston, Texas. He was a presenter at Morgan State University’s Black Leadership Conference in Baltimore, Maryland and was a workshop presenter for the Association of National Plus Schools in Jakarta, Indonesia. Chris conducted a pro-bono Action Research Workshop for the non-profit organization YPHLC in Papua, Indonesia. He has given numerous presentations to special interest groups and schools in the United States, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Chris was Assistant Editor for the Majalah Pelita Harapan Journal, and was a member of the global health & safety, admissions, academic, technology and advisory planning committees at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.Chris served on the Board of Directors for Delta Food Services and Change, Incorporated; six doctoral committees in the fields of social psychology, business, management, environment, and public health; and with the International Association of Milk, Food and Environmental Sanitarians Program Development Group.He was awarded research authorization from the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, selected as a Wisconsin Teaching Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, awarded the Kerr County Leadership Award, Barnett Chapel Community Service Award, Biomedical Research Scholarship Award and Certificate of Achievement Award from the American Red Cross. Chris mentored one of U.S. President Barack Obama’s cousins and a grandson of former Indonesian President Soeharto in Science. He is the inventor of the Warrior hand sterilization system, the first and only non-liquid based hand sterilization system in the world. Chris is currently writing a book entitled Changing Goals to Realities: An organization’s blueprint for success.
