Marriage is not a shield against HIV or STDs.
Some women believe they’re safe because they’re married or have been with the same man for years. But the truth is that many women contract HIV and other sexually transmitted infections from long-term partners who engage in secret sexual relationships and never disclose the risk.
What’s even more alarming is that HIV can live in the body for years without symptoms. Many people look healthy, feel healthy, and have no idea they’re infected until much later. That’s why testing is so important—even for women in marriages and long-term relationships.
Covert narcissists often thrive on deception, double lives, manipulation, and gaslighting. They may convince you that you’re crazy for asking questions while exposing you to dangers you never agreed to. While you’re being faithful, they may be taking risks that affect your health, your future, and even your life.
Ladies, know your status. Get tested regularly. Ask questions. Trust actions more than words. Protect your health even when it feels uncomfortable. Your loyalty should never cost you your well-being.
“Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” — Matthew 10:16
Awareness is not fear. Awareness is wisdom. Getting tested isn’t a sign of distrust it’s an act of self-respect and stewardship over the body God gave you.

I didn’t say it the word did!!! Many people quote, “Wives submit to your husbands,” but forget that before a wife is called to submit, a husband is called to submit to Christ.
A wife is asked to respect her husband, but a husband is commanded to love his wife the same way Christ loved the Church so much that He laid down His life for her.
Biblical marriage is not about power. It’s about sacrifice.
The husband bows to Christ.
The wife honors her husband.
And together they honor God.
When a man is truly submitted to Christ, his leadership looks less like control and more like service, protection, humility, and love.
“Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” — Ephesians 5:21 ❤️

Some people don’t love you… they just love access to you.
Access to your heart.
Your softness.
Your loyalty.
Your presence.
Your ability to pour into them while they give you the bare minimum in return.
And for a while, I confused being “kept around” with being chosen.
But being chosen looks different.
It’s consistent.
Intentional.
Protective.
Clear.
It doesn’t leave you questioning yourself every night.
God is not the author of confusion, and I had to stop calling confusion “love.”
“God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.”
1 Corinthians 14:33
Some people will keep you emotionally on standby because your presence benefits them. But eventually, you have to love yourself enough to stop accepting half-hearted connections and temporary love.
I no longer want relationships where I’m only valued when it’s convenient.
What God has for me will never require me to shrink, beg, compete, or constantly question my worth.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Proverbs 4:23

When my divorce is completed, so many people have told me to go out, hit the clubs, chase what’s easy. But I know God has a different path. My husband will be anointed, just like I am. I don’t need the devil’s playground. I’m waiting on God, because Lamentations 3:25–26 says, ‘The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.’”
