Every once in a while, you get the chance to work with people whose passion is woven into every corner of what they create. That’s exactly what this branding session was for.

The Dahl Farmhouse is so much more than a shop. From custom fragrances and timeless home décor to unique gifts, apparel, and their recently added Men’s Mercantile, every detail feels intentional, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated. Their latest renovation only adds to the experience…tranquil, inviting, and impossible to leave without finding something you love.

But what I admire most is the heart behind it all. Tori brings the vision and creativity, while Jon brings the grit and hard work to bring it to life. As a small business owner whose husband is often behind the scenes making things happen, it’s a partnership I understand and appreciate deeply.

What makes this story even sweeter is that is also my neighbor at Gentry Square. I’ve been in my studio for 12 years, and when they moved into the building a few years ago, things changed in the very best way. In true Dahl fashion, they poured their hearts into revitalizing not just their business, but the entire space around them.

I’m so grateful our paths crossed and even more grateful I got to help tell a small part of their story through these images. This was such a fun project and a beautiful reminder of what can happen when passion, vision, and hard work come together.

Loved seeing this sweet family again and getting to meet the newest little blessing to the crew. Another beautiful baby girl, and let me tell you… big sister understood the assignment perfectly. She was the happiest, proudest big sis and completely smitten the entire session.

So far this spring has been an absolute blast! The temps have been kind to us, the sunsets have shown off, and these families have been the sweetest to work with. I loved meeting this crew and their adorable baby boy! And can we talk about those eyes for a second?! Seriously SO cute. Such a fun easygoing family, and I’m already hoping I get to see them again someday! ☀️💙

Because senior sessions aren’t just about the graduate… they’re about the people who stood in the background cheering the loudest the entire way.

The early mornings, late nights, endless miles on the road, tournament weekends, chasing sunsets from one baseball field to the next… this family lived it all together. And now here we are, celebrating the finish line of one chapter and the start of another.

As a sports mom myself, this one hit home in all the best ways. These milestones carry so much emotion behind them, and I hope you know I celebrate right alongside you every single time I photograph them.

Wishing this graduate the absolute best at Texas Tech University next year. He’s going to have the best time and make memories that last forever.

This includes newborn, studio, and outdoor portrait sessions…plus those coveted weekend dates that always disappear first.

During the holidays, weekends are mostly reserved for mini sessions, so I only open a handful of weekend spots for full sessions each year. Once those are gone, the next weekend availability will be holiday minis and those release in late July.

Spring has definitely sprung around here, and it was so fun seeing this sweet family again! It feels like yesterday we were doing little man’s newborn session… and now look at him! Still rocking those adorable arm rolls in the very best way.

Watching these babies grow, seeing their personalities start to shine, and getting to document each milestone along the way truly never gets old. This stage is such a fun one!

All day long it was rain, storms, and a very soggy drive to Galveston. I kept watching the radar hoping for the tiniest break because mama is due in just a few weeks and this season of life waits for no one. Summer schedules are packed, so we came prepared for anything…towels, clear umbrellas, and a “we’ll make it work” attitude.

And somehow… luck was on our side. The second we parked, the clouds softened and the storms gave us about 45 perfect minutes to make magic happen.

Honestly, I’m so glad we went for it. I loved meeting this sweet family and turning a stormy evening into memories they’ll always have. Sometimes the best sessions happen when you just embrace the chaos and dance with the weather a little.

Some sessions just feel like pure magic from start to finish. I met the sweetest family and worked with the most amazing kiddos, and somehow posing a family of 8 was an absolute breeze! Everyone flowed together so naturally, baby completely understood the assignment, and the entire session felt effortless in the best way possible. One of those rare unicorn sessions where everything just clicks, everyone relaxes, and the magic unfolds on its own. So beyond thankful for families like this and the memories we created together 🤍
