That’s why you need people around you who aren’t trying to normalize compromise, but help you stay close to God. 🔥

Don’t do faith alone. Join a small group.
Weird is easier with witnesses. 😏🙌

One week in and already… WOW.

We’ve seen new friendships sparked, old friendships strengthened, prayers shared, meals enjoyed, kids playing, laughter echoing through homes, and people stepping into community.

This is exactly why we do Small Groups.

Not because another event fills a calendar.
Because people need people.

Real life happens in circles, not rows.

Thank you to every host who opened your home, every leader who said yes, and every person who took a step of faith and showed up.

We’re only one week in, and we can’t wait to see what God does this summer. ❤️

Day 6: Lord, Lord
Read: Luke 6:46

Jesus asked, “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?”

That question cuts through religious language and goes straight to obedience.
Calling Jesus Lord means more than using the right words. It means surrendering to His authority.

Misusing God’s name is not only about speaking His name carelessly. It can also happen when we claim His name but refuse His way.

Ouch.

The forge invites us into integrity.

If we carry the name of Jesus, our lives should show that He is truly Lord. Not just Lord over our worship. Not just Lord over our Sunday. Lord over our words, choices, relationships, priorities, habits, and obedience.

The question is not only, “Do I call Him Lord?”
The deeper question is, “Do I obey Him as Lord?”

Journal today:
Is there any area where I call Jesus Lord but resist His instruction?

What act of obedience is God asking from me this week?

What would change if I lived more aware that I carry the name of Jesus?

Daily Challenge:
Take one step of obedience today.

Apologize. Forgive. Serve. Surrender. Tell the truth. Pray. Give. Rest. Obey whatever instruction God has already made clear.

Don’t just call Him Lord.
Follow Him as Lord.

God invites intimacy with Him… but intimacy should never erase reverence.

His name is holy.
Not empty.
Not meaningless.
Not something we throw around to sound spiritual.

Remember who we’re speaking to:
The Creator.
The Savior.
The King still seated on the throne.

“Holy” doesn’t mean distant.
It means set apart.
