We are proud to celebrate the opening of Montgomery County Precinct 4โs new Emergency Response Warehouse in New Caney!๐๐จ๐
This facility was built to provide help for residents in the area from emergencies such as hurricanes, floods, and wildfires. With the location being in East Montgomery ๐ it will be easier to provide residents in that portion of the county with faster response times and emergency support.
The warehouse will store essential emergency resources, including bottled water, cots, and sheltering supplies, helping support up to 500 people during a crisis. Previously, many of these supplies were stored in the northern part of the county near Conroe, creating potential delays when roads became impassable during emergencies. This investment reflects Montgomery Countyโs commitment to building a region that prioritizes the safety of its community.
Congratulations to Commissioner Matt Gray, Montgomery County Precinct 4, Mark Keough County Judge, Montgomery County Commissioners Court, and all partners involved in bringing this important project to life. We look forward to the positive impact this facility will have on the safety of our community for years to come - Zach Hansen, NHA Intern
