What can we dream up for you? We are a Boutique Studio creating beautiful custom invitations and versatile paper and gift products inspired by art, design & life. INSPIRED BY ART - The love of mixed media draws us to design products with depth and beauty. We love to layer things and experiment for a dynamic design. Using both traditional and modern methods, we translate art into various applications. INSPIRED BY DESIGN - We allow the science of design as well as inspiration from all areas of design to influence our creations. Print technology, interior design, and fashion trends all inspire us to think outside the box. INSPIRED BY LIFE - Kids, dogs, spouses, new babies, home management, life moments, and all the crazy. Real life is an inspiration in itself. Whether it be a travel destination or something as simple as a beautiful organic pattern in the clouds, it inspires us to create. How it started...
"As a classically trained artist, I always had a thing for art, specifically, mixed media. Learning the history and basics of letterpress, and silkscreen printing, painting, drawing, darkroom photography + development, ceramics, and computer arts, I found my home with graphic design. The thing I loved most about learning design was exploring the vast possibilities of print. I loved the way paper and ink could tell a story, and was captured by the different ways texture and material could enhance a vision. I've since worked with moms, brides, event planners and businesses, designing everything from luxury invitations and branded collateral to large format displays and interior murals and signage. On Etsy, I designed custom invitations, and unique handmade party decorations, using both store-bought and custom designed papers and embellishments. I eventually began designing my parties around papers that I designed, and there, inspiration struck for me to use the same process to create chic, artfully inspired stationery, gifts, and accessories using my designs. Last year, I decided to build on my passion to design + curate beautiful invitations, stationery and accessories for my own brand, J.Dream Studio. It's a place to combine my all of my inspiration, and do something that I love, and share it with the world. It's also the place where I show my 2 children my processes and how I found healing through art and creativity. Dream Studio was formed as a way for me to express my interests and embrace the creative chameleon that I am! I hope you enjoy our products!"
