There’s something about the many colors of Mexico that keep calling for my haste return. The many exotic flavors but still being U.S.A. adjacent brings a calming sense of peace. Knowing I could get on aboard a boat in Progresso, drive across the G.O.M. & get sunken by an American ship is crazy but hey! This is our new reality right? 😂

The Yucatan cuisine? Next level—every bite felt like a little piece of culture and tradition.
And listen... BORO did NOT come to play The ice cream? Unreal. The ramen? Chef’s kiss...WAIT! Did I mention it was all in a caboose? And don’t even get me started on that light, melt-in-your-mouth banana bread from Marmalade —I devoured it in seconds.
Also... I got ice cream twice in one day. No regrets. LOL 😝

This is not a USA bashing ceremony but, more like a plea to get you to actually do some traveling. It’s easy to judge another country if you haven’t visited it. But whatever happened to “trying something new” with an open mind. Mexico has so much to offer than what you see on the resorts. Step out, see something different & find that better person inside of you.

So before I left on this amazing journey I had to make one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make in finding a new home for my Baby Bleau. She’s one of the sweetest, rascally, loving & needy “always said, it’s never enough” dog I have ever had. We had our times & she came to me in a time when although my life was great, somehow it wasn’t. Dealing with depression, life in general & just trying to understand what my next move in life was & she filled that void. From cuddling on the couch to sleeping on my feet & jumping on the bed when she didn’t want to be bothered. That was my girl & I miss her but I’m happy that I found someone who was able to take her & give her the love she deserved & demanded. Thank you Bleau for being there & know that I miss you dearly. Now I gotta call your new daddy to see how you’re doing.

This part of my life is breathtaking. I’ve learned to live in the moment & when I record I look for the least minute details as they are the ones that I have found myself enjoying in the play back. I hope as you see my videos, you get inspired to travel as well.
