LONG POST ALERT:
Isn’t it something how the holidays — a season meant for gratitude and togetherness — can bring out the worst in people?
Arguments at the Thanksgiving table…
Fights in Black Friday lines…
Couples snapping at each other because the weight of financial pressure is sitting heavy on their shoulders…

But hear me clearly: this is not the season to lose.
Not spiritually, not mentally, not financially.

We are in a time where we MUST be sober. We must be diligent. We must protect what God has placed in our hands — and that starts with HOW we treat one another.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
— 1 Peter 5:8

The enemy is looking for open doors — anger, overspending, comparison, frustration, pride, and exhaustion. Don’t hand him the key.

This is not the time to lose focus trying to impress people who won’t help you pay one bill, heal one wound, or fight one demon.

“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt…”
— Colossians 4:6

“Be kind and compassionate to one another…”
— Ephesians 4:32

Kindness isn’t weakness — it’s spiritual discipline.
Grace isn’t optional — it’s required fuel for this season.

People are going through silent battles you know nothing about. Offer kindness freely, because God gives it freely to you.

“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Gratitude shifts the atmosphere.
It softens hearts.
It protects your mind.
It reminds you of how far God has carried you — even when you did not feel carried.

“Moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.”
— 1 Corinthians 4:2

Stop stretching yourself trying to buy validation.
Stop competing with people who are secretly drowning.
Stop letting the season push you into stress God never assigned.

You are not required to impress — you are required to steward.

If God gave you peace, protect it.
If God gave you little, manage it well.
If God gave you relationships, nurture them with grace.
If God gave you breath, live it with purpose.

Let this season be about God, not gifts.
About gratitude, not greed.
About kindness, not chaos.
About stewardship, not stress.
About connection, not comparison.

Slow down.
Be gentle.
Be wise.
Be gracious.
And remember… the greatest gift you can give people is a heart that looks like Christ.

If you are a part of the private group, then you know today… Was quite the day nonetheless
2025 has been a year of uncertainty — a year where religion has been used to confuse, divide, and distract. Titles have been exposed, not as signs of God’s calling, but as red carpets rolled out for people who managed to win man’s approval while God quietly turned His face. Some have been “blessed” by false prophets — yes, the gift is real, but don’t get it twisted: God is the only employer who will let you keep working while your paycheck is leading straight to eternal separation.

If you’re reading this, something in you is tugging… a knowing, a watching eye, an open ear. That’s not paranoia — that’s discernment waking up.

And this is where scripture comes in:

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8

In this day, “be sober” hits different — because most of us aren’t drunk off alcohol…
We’re drunk off image.
Drunk off ego.
Drunk off platforms, aesthetics, applause, and curated Christianity.

And while we’re intoxicated with ourselves, there is still a lion walking, watching, waiting to destroy anything we refuse to guard.

People are making parodies of the church — hilarious at first… until it isn’t.
Because somewhere along the way, the Church stopped acting like the Bride and started moving like the side chick — messy, convenient, and only called on in emergencies. Available but not honored.

Just a thought.
Just a warning.
Just a reminder that those who are awake, aware, and discerning don’t have the luxury of pretending anymore

Don't let the last word not bethe word concerning you.
For example, “I'm sorry, Mr. Washington. we’ve done all we can do and we are giving you at least two weeks to live.” before he turned around and walks out the room, thank him for his services, but tell him I’ll see him in a month. Your word is the last word and then follow it up with because I know that the word says I will live and will not die, and I will declare the word of the Lord. The enemy will never have the last word.
