What is the primary mark of a godly church leader? True biblical leadership begins with a profound understanding of grace. A man fit to lead knows he is nothing without Christ. Like the Apostle Paul, a faithful pastor recognizes himself as the chief of sinners, completely reliant on the mercy of God. We must hold the biblical tension of esteeming our leaders highly for their work while remembering that God alone is everything.
