The illusion of control will lead you astray. Forgetting God's sovereignty over our days makes us think like an unbelieving world. James 4 warns that our lives are merely a v***r. Yielding to His will requires a submitted heart, not just repeated phrases. Listen to the full sermon on 2 Timothy 4:6-8 on our YouTube Channel. The link is in our page description/bio.
The Webcast will begin at 6:30 pm (US Central Time).

Does God look at you with anger when you sin? Dr. Richard Caldwell explains the profound difference between the wrath of a judge and the loving discipline of a perfect Father. If you belong to Christ, His anger is never to condemn you, but to correct you. Watch the full message on our page to understand how God views your sin.
Is God ever angry with Christians when they continue to struggle with sin? The heavy weight of a guilty conscience can make us feel condemned. However, we must understand the difference between God's wrath and His fatherly discipline. Our eternal status is secure in Christ, but our daily fellowship requires repentance when we fall. God corrects us not to destroy us, but for His glory and our ultimate good.

When believers stumble into sin, they often wonder if God is angry with them. Scripture makes a vital distinction between God's judicial wrath and His fatherly discipline. For those justified by faith alone, the wrath our sins deserve was fully poured out on Christ at the cross. Yet, as a loving Father, God can experience displeasure toward our sin. This discipline proves we belong to Him and is designed to produce holiness. The link to the episode is in our page description/bio.

A true servant of Christ desires to know where they fall short of God's standard. Though we are new creations, we still battle indwelling sin. While the world relies on personal feelings, the believer welcomes biblical reproof to please the Lord we love. Listen to the full sermon on 2 Timothy 3:16-17 on our YouTube Channel.
