Both of my grandpas served in the Korean War and both worked in meteorology for the military never having met. They were such great examples to me of love and sacrifice for this country. Because of them, I have a deep seeded love for the men and women who have and still do fight for life we have. Thank you to Operation Homefront for the work you do to serve our veterans. God bless America!

Veterans have a special place in my heart as both of my grandfathers, two brother-in-laws and a few close family friends have served in various capacities in the armed forces. I am so grateful for them and their service and sacrifices made to protect our country and freedoms. These two pictures are of my grandfathers who were both paratroopers and in the US Army Special Forces.
The Explore The Falls Race celebrates and supports veterans and their families through Operation Homefront.

My grandpa Kay P. Lyman fought for our freedom in WW2. This picture shows him with a picture of his sweetheart, my grandma, while serving in France. He lived his life loving and serving and protecting the precious gift of freedom. So thankful for his sacrifice and example. -Jana H. ❤️🇺🇸
