🛂 Do you need a passport for a cruise from Galveston?

It depends on your citizenship, itinerary, cruise line, destination, and whether the cruise is a closed-loop sailing. Some U.S. citizens may be able to sail on certain closed-loop cruises with proper proof of citizenship and photo ID, but a passport book is still strongly recommended.
